Hi, my name is Emily Thornton Illustrations, I am a 21 year old children's illustrator/author who creates fun imaginative work to keep children engaged with reading in a world of technology!

I am currently finishing my studies at the University of Gloucestershire, to get a BA in Illustration! I have had a love for children's books my whole life (yes even now)... especially the pictures within them.

I am a firm believer that the images within children's books are just as important if not more than the story themselves and researched into this heavily during my dissertation on the subject "Is there still room for picture books in a world of digital technology."
